It’s St. Patrick’s Day here in the US.  Statistics say that more than 90% of the US population celebrates St. Patrick’s Day and about 30% of them will celebrate it in a bar or restaurant today.

So what about you?

    Interesting infographic. I am certainly one of those that claim Irish decent…but on the flip side, I’ve never really been one to care about my heritage. It would be more interesting to see the results of a market research case study that shows how many people care about their ancestry/heritage enough to celebrate specific holidays, events. etc. which translate into sales for companies.

      Hi Vincent — now THAT IS very interesting. I think it’s fascinating how Halloween has changed from just a single day to an entire decorating retail fest. It’s not the same thing as heritage (although I believe the Celts were active celebrants of All Hallows Eve or Samhain) — but I digress. Thanks for the tip!
